Walking by some folks arguing near where the Foster Carts used to be. It was heated.
Cops showed up to investigate.
As I passed the cop was asking "Where you shouting racial epitaphs at those people?
The angry middle aged man at the center of the maelstrom had a firm denial.
"I Dinnn yell no epitaffs!"
I believe him.
An epitph is something written in memorial like on a tombstone.
I think they both meant epithet.
